Reconstruction of "Grand Chutes" hydropower station on Samma river in Guinea was the first project that "Hidrotehnika" has executed abroad. It had comprised the following works: construction of "Kale" dam 15 km upstream from the existing power station, reconstruction of hydropower plant including extension of existing machine house and installing of two additional power generators, and placing of steel pipeline (length 564 m, diameter 1.600-1.800 m).
