Bajina Basta

BAJINA BASTA
1959-1966

This structure was constructed on river Drina, 12 km upstream from Bajina Basta town and ranges among large projects of this kind. The dam is hollow concrete gravity type. It has enabled formation of 50 km long storage reservoir. Machine house was constructed on right river bank, with dimensions of 111 x 33,5 m, and 24 m high.
