"Zavoj" dam was constructed on Visocica river, 20 km from town of Pirot. It is forming the storage reservoir with capacity of 170.000.000 m3. About 6 km upstream from the dam water is being conveyed to the power plant through the intake structure, 8.5 km long headrace tunnel and 2.000 m long pipeline. From the power plant water is conveyed through 5 km long tailrace channel to the compensation basin with capacity of 650.000 m3. From the basin water runs off to Nisava river.
