Zvornik

ZVORNIK

Concrete gravity dam "Zvornik" was the first project executed by "Hidrotehnika". The works had been performed immediately after the second world war under very hard conditions and without adequate construction equipment. Machine houses are situated on both river banks as integral parts of the dam. Eight overflow weirs with segment valves (size 6 x 9 m) are located in the dam serving for discharge of surplus water.
