Beside two dams, system Wadi Derna included construction of numerous structures intended for irrigation of agricultural areas and water supply to Dernah town and surrounding communities. Some more important structures were: pump station at Maquarr and water tank with capacity of 208 m3, water tanks at Fatayah with capacity of 2 x 7.000 m3, Derna-Bou Mansur road 24 km long with 10 bridges with total length of 350 m.
